We had Shawn of Shawn Sawyer Photography in the studio twice this week for two adult cake smashes and we could not wait to share them with you.  She utilized the Main suite and took advantage of the shiplap wall and some of the includes props and furniture.  We hope this is the start of something amazing because we would love to see more adult cake smashes at The Studio!

I photographed a fortieth birthday adult cake smash!!  Say hey to my favorite Hampton Roads Makeup Artist, Carly Vega of Makeup by Vega. I love her and I know most of my clients and followers already know and love her too! So when she asked me to photograph a fortieth birthday cake smash I was all like “HELL YEAH!” and then when my work wife Sami, co-owner of The Studio Hampton Roads, said do it here, I was all like “EFF YEAH!” and then Carly went and got all did up by another Hampton Roads talent Shaelynn, of Anywhere Beauty by Shae, ordered her cake from Jess at Sugar Craft Cakery and this right here happened….24k (rose) Gold Magic!"
