Let's hear from Misty about her time at the studio:
I chose the studio for these sessions because it’s so versatile - as you can see. In 10 minutes, clients were able to go inside, outside, have various different settings and backdrops and we were able to to give them a few different options to use - and to rotate, without everything feeling the same. That’s one of my favorite things about shooting there - I can give clients variety without traveling to multiple locations. The other thing that I love is that everyone’s session is still vastly different - because they’re all different people. I try not to replicate anything - because you can’t replicate a smile, a laugh, or a personality.
My subjects in these photos range from realtors to photographers to professionals that wanted things for their LinkedIn. It’s ideal for almost anymore.
Words of wisdom? Don’t go in with preconceived notions. Let your clients make decisions on the spaces that feel right for them. Look at imagery that you’ve seen at the studio and try to find ways to make it different, to make it yours - to make it THEIRS.
