We couldn't wait to share this professional portrait session by Photographer and Studio Member Ciesther Parrilla Dela Cruz, of DCPG Photography. We loving having her and her team here at the studio every week. She utilizes the space in such creative ways and we just love her bold use of color!! You'll be seeing much more of her on our blog throughout the next few weeks since we have a ton to share from her, but for now we are going to start with her "The Mom Stays in the Picture" mama and me mini sessions from April!!

"One of my favorite things about
The Studio - Hampton Roads is that we can photograph your session both indoors AND outdoors thanks to the grass and trees surrounding the building. Contending with the insane VA weather is so much easier knowing we can run inside if it rains or is too hot (which, as we all know, are both inevitable).
In April, we held our annual "The Mom Stays in the Picture" mama and me sessions. Since I am a member of the studio and have a bank of time to use, I was able to book these on a rolling basis throughout the whole month instead of having to cram everyone into one or two days. So much less stressful and the clients were grateful that we had more open availability. The Main Suite was the perfect backdrop! Although most mamas chose the shiplap, we had lots of variety with the stairs, couches and chairs. "
